Differentiate System Software & Application Software

What is System Software???System Software consists of the program that control or mantain the operations of the computer and its devices.System Software serves as the interface between the user,Application Software and the computer's harware.

There are two types of System Software which are Operating System and Utility Program.

Operating System is a set of programs that coordinates all the activites among computer hardware devices. It provides a means for users to communicate with the computer and other software. Moreover, when a user starts a computer, portions of the operating system load into memory from the computer's hard disk.It remain in memory while the computer is on and erase when computer is off.

Utility Program allows a user to perform maintenance -type task usually related to managing a computer, its devices,or its program. Most operating systems include general utility program for managing disk drives, printers, and other devices.

What is Application Software?
It consists of program designed to make users more productive and assists them with personal tasks. The users are
1)to make business more efficient
2)to assists with graphics and multimedia projects
3)to support home, personal and educational tasks
4)to facilitate computer

Application Software is availablein a variety of forms,packaged,custom,web-based,open source, shareware, freeware and public domain.

Just to mention,System Software and Application Software depend on each other to complete any task given. That's all for now.Thank you.

Input and Output

Inputs are the signal or data received by the system, and outputs are the signal or data sent from it.Input or output devices are used by the users to communicate with the computer. For instance, keyboard and mouses are considered input devices of a computer, while monitors and printers are considered as output devices of a computer.

Mouses and keyboards are take as input physical movement that the human user outputs and convert it into signals that a computer can understand. The output from these devices is input for the computer. Similarly, printers and monitors take as input signals that a computer outputs. They then convert these signals into representations that human users can see or read.

Well, that's all for now.I guess I have finished my task about input and output.I hoped that my respectful lecturer wil satisfied with my job as I have done as best asI could. For other bloggers,I hoped that you can post a comment to me.Thank you.Got to go.Bye...
